Cancellation Policy

Overview

Essay Lab sells review credits — a fixed number of personal statement reviews that you can use at any time. This policy explains what happens when you cancel your account or decide to stop using the service.

You can cancel your account at any time

You are free to close your Essay Lab account at any time by contacting us at support@essaylab.ai. We will process your request promptly. Cancelling your account will permanently delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Unused credits are forfeited on cancellation

If you have unused review credits remaining when you cancel your account, those credits are forfeited. We do not offer refunds or compensation for unused credits at the time of cancellation.

Credits have no cash value and are not transferable to another account.

No cooling-off period after purchase

Because credits give immediate access to a digital service, no cooling-off or cancellation window applies once a purchase is completed. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing. If you have questions before buying, contact us at support@essaylab.ai.

Service discontinuation

In the unlikely event that we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email and will offer a pro-rata refund for any unused credits still on your account at that time.
