Cancellation Policy

There is nothing to cancel

Essay Lab reviews are free. There is no subscription, no credit balance and no recurring charge, so there is nothing that needs cancelling and nothing that keeps billing you if you walk away. You can simply stop using the service.

Closing your account

You can close your account at any time, either from your profile settings or by emailing support@essaylab.ai. We will action it promptly.

Closing your account permanently deletes your saved reports and the essays behind them, in line with our Privacy Policy. That cannot be undone, so download anything you want to keep first.

Counsellor sessions

Our one-to-one counsellor service is arranged with you directly rather than bought on this site. How to change or cancel a booking is agreed with you in writing before any work begins, and those terms are what apply.

If we discontinue the service

If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email so you have time to download your reports before they are deleted.
